- When a seller accepts an offer from a buyer and the seller subsequently accepts a higher offer from another buyer for more money the first buyer has been Gazumped.
- If you (the BUYER) buy a CHAIN FREE® or CHAIN MENDER® house Albani are selling (because the seller has taken our finance):
- you will not be Gazumped (some 37% of buyers are Gazumped)
- you will be protected by our Buyers Anti-Gazumping Guarantee™ (peace of mind).
- Sellers who have taken our finance:
- will have signed a Sale Contract (our Legal Department will add the BUYERS name) and Transfer so we can sell their house in order to recoup our finance (we do not buy houses)
- How you (the BUYER) will not be Gazumped:
- We will only accept your offer conditional upon you exchanging contracts and paying our Legal Department a 5% Sale Deposit within 8 weeks from the date of our Acceptance Email
- We will not in those 8 weeks sell the house you want to buy to someone else for more money than you have offered, time being of the essence, Albani reserving the right to deal with other buyers at any time conditional upon this timetable not being adhered to.
